I had a microdiscectomy done in August. I was in pain for two months, barely could walk. It was my first surgery and I was very nervous. I'm late offering this. I'm indebted to Dr. Goldstein for being part of an incredible team that saved my life.
Fortunately for me, Mountainside Hospital knew my aggressive MRSA infection was above their capabilities and informed my late Father and wife while I was in a coma that a team at UMDNJ could help.
Dr. Goldstein pinpointed my issue on his end and removed part of my cervical spine and two discs. He fused it all together, and little by little, I improved to live a decent quality of life.
He had a polite, competent staff, everyone was incredibly kind and compassionate.
What struck me was upon thanking him and offering a debt of gratitude, he swore it wasn't a big deal.
God Bless and kudos, having that resume, capability, and reputation without letting it go to your head while completely caring for the patients.
