At New Jersey Brain and Spine (NJBS), our mission has always been clear: provide exceptional, patient-centered neurosurgical care while investing in the future of medicine. To support the next generation of healthcare professionals, we are proud to open applications for the 2026–2027 NJBS Healthcare Scholarship.
The NJBS Healthcare Scholarship is a $2,000 award created to recognize and support individuals pursuing careers in healthcare. Whether your path is medicine, nursing, neuroscience, psychology, allied health, or another healthcare-related field, we want to recognize your commitment to caring for others and contributing to the future of healthcare.

Applications will be reviewed by a committee of NJBS physicians and administrators. Essays will be evaluated based on personal story and authenticity, reflection and insight, connection to the applicant’s future healthcare career, and writing quality and clarity.
The scholarship recipient will be selected based on the overall strength of their submission and demonstrated commitment to a future in healthcare.
The selected recipient will receive a $2,000 scholarship award and will be recognized on the NJBS website and social media channels.
