Doctor's Biography

Dr. Carnevale joined the New Jersey Brain and Spine team following a seven-year residency at New York Presbyterian-Weill Cornell Medicine and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City, where he was recognized for his distinguished neurosurgical care of his patients as well as his  research on original, minimally invasive approaches to neurosurgery.

Dr. Karimi has always made me feel comfortable that I am in the hands of an expert who truly cares. I consider myself very fortunate that he wound up performing the procedures to repair my brain aneurysm, as it was an emergency situation and he was the surgeon on call. Great doctor. Very knowledgeable, but he’s able to explain everything so it easy to understand. I feel like a patient and not just another $. The surgery went well and without any complications. The recovery was as expected as well. This guy is as legit as they come. You’re very lucky to have found Dr. Karimi and his staff.
